Chris Garcia is a Cuban-American drummer and composer based in Orange County, California. He is a versatile musician whose talents are in demand in a variety of genres, and he enjoys an active schedule performing locally and touring nationally.

Since discovering his passion for music at age 14,
Chris has worked tirelessly to progress in his drumming journey. In 2010, Chris graduated from Vanguard University with a BA in Music - Percussion Performance. He has been mentored by lauded drummers Chaun Horton Natasha Bedingfield, Macy Gray, Chris Coleman Beck and Nate Morton The Voice.

Chris has been privileged to share the stage and record with a variety of artists over the course of his 15-year career, including major Christian artists such as Kim Walker-Smith, Sean Feucht, Michael Ketterer, Eddie James, Matt Gillman, Melody Noel, Whitney Medina, Meredith Mauldin, Jonathon Traylor and many more. He has also toured with Val Ponzio (country), Amy Guess (pop/rock) and Emily David (punk/rock)

Additionally, Chris has been part of the principle ensemble for numerous touring theatrical musicals, including Evita, Billy Elliot, The Full Monty Into The Woods, Beehive and Little Shop of Horrors.

As a composer, Chris has written the musical scores for several video games, including Warpips, Nekro and the forthcoming Borabous.

No matter the venue or genre, Chris’s devotion to his craft shines when he’s behind his kit. He considers himself an eternal student and wholly invests himself in every piece of music and performance, continuously striving to elevate the gifts of the people around him.
